Why Did It Work Among Jews, Muslims and Christians

Please - Anybody out there - Write to me - Jews, Muslims, Christians and all people of faith who have had it with religious hatred and want to learn the secrets of interfaith community building within the construct of medieval southern Spain - 8th, 9th and 10th centuries!

755 A.D. - 'Abd Al-Rahman III it is said, wanted the world to know that Cordoba provided religious resources and grew secular sciences. He took his time to grow the court. He imported books from Baghdad and actively recruited scholars by providing decent compensation. Poets, scholars, philosophers,historians, and musicians migrated to Cordoba. This Ummayad Emirate of Cordoba provided their inhabitants with a viable INFRASTRUCTURE. "Abd Al - Rahman III GREW the city. Libraries, hospitals, research institutions, centers of Islamic studies were part and parcel of the city. Money was used for the public good. Intellectual tradition was established as par for the course. The educational system was the pride and joy of Cordoba.
